Worldwide staff and contractor personnel
Scope
Our client – an international data centre provider, wanted to move their HSE e-learning courses to a Telos Learn managed LMS for delivery of the training material to their worldwide staff and contractor personnel.
The requested LMS specifications and support were:
- Client branded interface
- Custom domain
- Single Sign On (SSO)
- SCORM support
- HRIS Integration
- Multiple language interface
- Batch import for user accounts
- Multiple group functionality with auto enrolment
- Automated course assignment and reminder notifications (users & line managers) in user location-based language
- Course assessment, completion tracking and pass marks
- Automated certificates
- Automated and manual custom reporting
- User dashboard with high level training progress
- Manager dashboard with detailed training progress
- LMS support with ticketing system
Approach
At the onset of the project, Telos Learn confirmed the requirements and training objectives for the system. We reviewed the relevant documentation and confirmed all data protection policies were in place and that the system met the client’s requirements.
Solution
The LMS was setup with a custom domain to reflect the client’s own domain, the interface was fully branded using the client’s logo, colour schemes & backgrounds.
The system was then configured to provide location-based languages, with all user interfaces and emails in the users native language.
The client nominated some line managers as admin level accounts, and they were given guidance and instructions on how to use the system to monitor their learners progress. Telos Learn then worked with the admins to understand their individual requirements and setup all the automated notifications and reporting.
All other system settings and options were then applied to meet the client’s requirements.
The training materials and courses were then added to the system, with users imported and assigned to the relevant courses.
Outcome
The client was delivered a ready to use LMS for distribution to their learners. Telos Learn is providing support & maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the system.
